Who we are

The website is operated by Bastin Consulting, a group of financial advisors who act as tied agents (vázaní zástupci) of OVB Allfinanz, a.s., Company ID 48040410, V Parku 2343/24, 148 00 Prague 4 - Chodov. Our office is at Mezibranská 4, 110 00 Prague 1.

For any question about your data, use the consultation form on the homepage or visit our office. When you become a client, OVB Allfinanz, a.s. processes your data under its own privacy policy.

The consultation request form

When you send the form, we receive the details you enter: your name, your phone number, your email address if you give one, the languages you speak, the topics you want to discuss, your preferred consultant if you choose one, and your confirmation that we may contact you.

We use these details only to reply to your request and arrange a consultation. The legal basis is taking steps at your request before entering into a contract (Article 6(1)(b) GDPR) and your consent (Article 6(1)(a) GDPR), which you can withdraw at any time.

The website does not keep the form in a database. Your request is forwarded to the consultant who will handle it. If you enter an email address, you also receive a confirmation email.

Protecting the form

To stop spam and abuse, our server records the IP address of a submission when it is rejected as automated or when too many requests arrive from the same address. These technical logs are kept for a short time and are used for nothing else. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in keeping the service secure (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR).

Analytics

We use Google Analytics 4, provided by Google Ireland Limited, to understand how visitors use the website. Google Analytics uses cookies and receives information such as the pages you view, your device and browser, and your approximate location derived from your IP address.

We also run our own statistics service. It records the pages you view, the page you came from, campaign parameters in the link (such as utm_source), your screen size, browser language, time zone, page loading times and technical errors. It stores a random visitor identifier in your browser’s local storage and a session identifier in its session storage. It does not receive your name or contact details.

We use this information to improve the website and fix problems. You can block cookies and clear site data in your browser settings at any time; the website works without them.

Embedded map

The contact section shows a Google map of our office. When the map loads, your browser connects to Google, which receives your IP address and may set its own cookies.

Who receives your data

Depending on what you do on the website, your data may be received by:

• the Bastin Consulting consultant handling your request;
• our hosting and message-delivery providers, who process it on our behalf;
• Google, for analytics and the embedded map, which may process data in the United States under the EU–US Data Privacy Framework;
• OVB Allfinanz, a.s., if you decide to become a client.

How long we keep it

We keep your request only as long as we need it to respond and arrange a consultation. If you become a client, your data is kept for the periods that the law requires for financial intermediation. You can ask us to delete your request at any time.

Your rights

Under the GDPR you have the right to:

• access the personal data we hold about you;
• have inaccurate data corrected;
• have your data erased;
• restrict or object to its processing;
• receive your data in a portable format;
• withdraw your consent at any time, without affecting processing that took place before;
• lodge a complaint with the Czech Office for Personal Data Protection (Úřad pro ochranu osobních údajů).

Changes to this policy

We update this policy when the website or the way we process data changes. The date at the top shows the latest version.
